My Big Boy

Today is my baby-boy's birthday!  He turns 8, so he  is not so little anymore... It seems that at the moment we become parents the time stops. It's very hard to understand how did the children became big so fast, because it looks  like everything happened only yesterday, or maximum a few months ago... And here we go, instead of cute helpless baby there is a nice independent boy... Happy Birthday, my Son!  

 



A Happy Day

There is one very special day every week. One of those when  my heart is singing from a pleasant view. But I have to hush it a little, so I could enjoy the froufrou and whispers of these coquettish ladies... Today is a FLOWER WATCHING DAY :)  I wish you a nice day too!

A dove, symbol of peace and love is nothing more than a white pigeon... Then why do we hate colorful pigeons so much, calling them "winged rats"? Are they really so dirty? - No more than other birds! I think that's an invention of city, contaminated by humans... Yes, pigeons do go around and eat everything what PEOPLE left... Who is more dirty then?  Such a shame...

I know, I know, it's far too much... But after the house turned into a hospital, with only one "healthy" person (me?), I can forgive myself  having a piece of this... hmm... medicine? 

 


                                                         

Princess and the Peas

...One day the Princess woke up and felt : "Green!"  That was the magical key to her mighty powers, as lately they've been fading. Unfortunatelly her faithfull Prince was far away in an unknown  mysterious land fighting  the dragons. So she  had to travell alone to the farthest places  in a search of a Magical Power of Life. And when at last the Princess found the Green, she had to pay almost a half of  her kingdom to get it...

 What's the end of the story? - The Princess slept happilly thereafter. On a ONE mattress...

Aviary

- Look! - the black swan next to me gracefully turns its  head towards waddling queue.
- Lets go to the restaurant!
- Restaurant! Restaurant!.. - cackles the flock.
- Which one? To the right or to the left?
- To the right!  Right!  Right.  Right...
- Nice day!  Food here is good!  Good food.  Food.  Good...
- They look like geese! - happily chirps my little sparrow surprised.
- Shut up your beak! - I croak like a crown, being unable to understand why suddenly I feel like a  peacock???

 

Perfect

Blue blue sky. Green green leaves. Nice!.. Or... Boring?!.  The second option is closer to me :)  I miss drama, I need surprises, I love changes! Not in my life - I have plenty of them. In the sky!.. The nature of Nature is to change, naturally. That's why you, covered by snow or wet from the rain dream to come here, to this perfect paradise, to have a CHANGE. But what about me?..  Perfect blue is boring. Unless it has an invisible sour-sweet smell of last rain on the ground, steaming to the air... I close my eyes, feel up my lungs with this clean crystal perfection and remember what I used to say to myself at this time of the year- the spring is coming... Perfect!

Luck :)

Superstitions and fairy tales say that animals bring good luck to you. Well, then I must be absolutely fortunate one!.. The luck is following me everywhere - the hedgehogs under my bed, lizards size of the cat in the terrace and geckos in the bathroom...  No, I am not complaining,  just wanted to wish a GOOD LUCK to all of you!  :)

"The best things in life are unexpected - because there were no expectations." I was convinced.  Not always you need to go to the fancy restaurant to be served such a masterpiece... Anything good  can be waiting just behind the corner, in the middle of  the road to something expected...

 



Green grass

The grass is always greener on the other side... Especially if you don't have it at all, literally...  And now we been visited by a very seldom guest - the  RAIN!  So, not only my litlle piece of  backyard, but the entire island  is green!  Yet, please, don't get green with envy that at last I am on the right side of the fence...

It's cold

Damn right, it's cold here! Sounds very strange from the  island of entire summer, but I can't help it... I am really freezing  in the house without a heating, listening to the wind whistling through the windows and doors. Now and then I have to jump out to the sun to warm up... You might be laughing now, but immagine that where you live the temperature drops down about 20 degrees ... Yeah, that makes difference, isn't?   So on the rainy evening the only salvation is to snuggle up to the feathers of the precious One...
