Blustery Day

"Oh the wind is lashing lustily
And the trees are trashing thrustily
And the leaves are rustling gustily
So it's rather safe to say
That is seems that it may turn out to be
It feels that it will undoubtedly
It looks like a rather blustery day today

Hum dum dum ditty dum
Hum dum dum..."

(Winnie The Pooh)

La Dolce Vita

To eat or not to eat the breakfast? That's not the question... Not even WHAT to eat, but HOW to eat! The composition on your plate is a personal choice. And the quantity is not so important, as some like to start the day slowly, while others run on full speed from early morning. The quality is only thing what matters. The fresh pleasure for the body and the soul :)  Have a nice day!

That's the color of today...  Supposedly the climate here is  to be  the best in the world.  Who ever invented that nonsense? No changes=good??? No spring, no rain, no falling leaves, no snow, no anything decent from the Nature! Same same and same... Except of today! The beautiful gray clouds brought some relief. Somehow we tend to believe that grey color is boring and sad, but just look at the Nature! The neutral peace, natural balance... Relief and relax... Let's enjoy it !

Flower Hunt

I found them! The local beauty, not the ones you can buy in the flower shop :)  Even had to crawl on my knees between the rocks  just to see this minature explosion of freshness in nowhere...  But aren't they fascinating? Reminds me of  litlle raspberries...  Oh, those Summer dreams!..

Holiday means to relax and enjoy, especially if you use your time clever. If not, you might find yourself stoned, like most of the tourists... And  not necessarily from drugs or alcohol.  The ultimate state of the mind might be reached while frying yourself at the beach. Just laying there for all week...  Isn't that a definition of being stoned?

Easter Sunday

Old Street

Until few decades ago it used to be a little fisherman's village. The small houses here and there, tiny stores, a couple of hotels... A few things to do besides fishing and cultivating tomatoes... Life was slow and relaxed.  Quiet. Simple. And today... I can count on my fingers the "real" houses, squeezed between new complexes, growing like baobabs. The non-stop roaring tourism machine moved almost all fish from the port to the supermarket; but also... it moved  me here!  Yet I get very nostalgic strolling  the old streets of  fisherman's place...

Little Girl's Dream

"We say we love flowers, yet we pluck them. We say we love trees, yet we cut them down. And people still wonder why some are afraid when told they are loved..."

A Thirst for Rain

When only a few drops felt down yesterday, it felt like a bad joke. Actually I almost got mad with that dusty arid bureaucracy  in the sky. Feeling thirsty I started "to google" the rain... And then I found this line - "The good rain, like the bad preacher, does not know when to leave off." (Ralph Waldo Emerson)  Immediately I had to twist it other way, I do that with everything ;)  Suddenly  I realised, that this "bad rain"  tells me to be patient...  In the night time the thirst was slaked...

I do eat meat. It's a genetic and cultural decision, geographically  made for me before developing my own ability to make my choice. Now I choose proteins, amino acids and other nutrients in the form of meat instead of  synthetic supplements to the vegetarian diet. It's possible to be a vegetarian without them? Great, but... not my case. I have a complicated body.  Don't like killing animals?  But next time you take a pill don't forget, that many pharmaceuticals are produced from animals... So let's push all dogmas away and don't be so judgemental, Homo Sapiens...

After the sleepless night my perception of the world might be not very  tame...

The Poppy

"Summer set lip to earth's bosom bare,
And left the flushed print in a poppy there:
Like a yawn of fire from the grass it came,
And the fanning wind puffed it to flapping flame..."

                                 (Francis Thompson)

As Monday marks a continuing routines, the head just follows them without any thinking. The same tasks, same movements, same habits, same ways, same thinking, same same... Until - BANG! The head hits something hard. The sudden pain stops from going the same direction. It hurt, but it helped. To stop and continue differently.

I am going to dig  myself into the sand.  A simple rest of senses.  Just take off  the clothes and blend  with the beach... Enjoy the sensation when every piece of sand hugging you... Just feel the body becoming a part of the sand... A total fusion... Melting...

Ostrich was right!

"Picture you upon my knee
Just tea for two
And two for tea
Just me for you
And you for me... alone-

Day will break and I'll gonna wake
And start to bake a sugar cake..."

Wall Pictures

I used to draw on the walls when I was a kid. And later a writting of short messages came along... But my  Mother was  the happy one :) A disturbed childhood?  No! A freedom!   That's why I like graffiti. Like a time-machine, it brings me back...
P.S. Mom, I didn't draw this one! I swear!!!

Some think they know everything. Categorically, stubbornly opinionated about everything and everybody. The world in their eyes is black and white; there is no space for green creative intelligence. No time for learning, growing and respecting season-changes for differnt plants in different climate. Well...
"As long as you green, you're growing. As long as you're ripe, you start to rot."   (Ray Kroc)

Never say never. Because you might start a blog :) At least that's my story. Honestly, had no idea about what I am doing, or where it will take me. I just did it. It was something I haven't done before , unknown for me, it was a challenge.  But before I started a blog, I already knew something. That I am not a writer, or neither a photographer, so I will not pretend to be one of them.  But you don't have to be a writer to express yourself, you don't have to be a professional to carry arround your pocket camera. The  only thing is  you must  be a human. Means imperfect. Imperfect! What I am very happy about, as I do this for myself. What makes me more happy. I have "all rights reserved " not telling why or how. But I will tell you one thing. Life here is not a  touristic brochure. And making photos is extreamly challenging, simply because it´s too much sun, means light, means overexposion, means pictures look dull and flat... Also where I live, nothing ever changes, only faces of tourists. What I have another promise about, not putting faces of people here... (At least not yet :))  And if I´ve been fooling you with immages of beautifull life, I will say SORRY now, by showing a reality, not a holidays postcard... Just look at the picture below.  But am I lying posting the glimpses of the beauty? Which is everywhere, only if you want see it?  You tell me.  The world is a beautifull place, and a life itself is a mirracle. I know what I am talking about, literally... As my friend told, to me "life happened"... BTW, to you too!

So, how does it looks the life here? Colorful, fresh and relaxing? Have to tell you, was a lucky day, clouds passed by... It could take many months in summer time to see any ;)
Just looked at the lenght of my post today... I will come back to my daydreaming tomorrow. Mañana...

Peace Offering

"I offer you peace. I offer you love. I offer you friendship. I see your beauty. I hear your need. I feel your feelings. ..."        (Mahatma Gandhi)

Should be easy. If we wouldn't wait for such words from someone, but start giving for another. Today?..
